Kiehl's Body Butter Review

Packaging with purpose

If you ever read my blog post on minimalist home decor, one of the things I mentioned was that I love purchasing products such as lotion or perfumes that match my aesthetic + theme so that I can use practical items as decoration. It's such a great way to save space and avoid clutter!

As soon as I got my hands on the Kiehl's body butter, I fell in love with the packaging! The gold foil is mesmerizing with tribal print on the sides (by FAILE, an artistic collaboration between Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller). You can't get any more neutral than white, black, and gold, making it easy to add to your vanity collection.

Not only is the packaging aesthetically pleasing but it also serves a purpose! Every time you purchase Kiehl's whipped body butter, you help to secure 340 meals for feeding America.

100% of net profits form FAILE sales benefit Feeding America(R), up to $100,000. $1 helps provde 11 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local member food banks.

One of the key ingredients is Shea butter, which automatically means it's ultra moisturizing! My favorite time to use it is right when I get out of the shower, especially on my feet with some fuzzy socks.

I typically don't love fruity aromas, but the grapefruit isn't overpowering or too sweet, it's just right (they also have Lavender, Soy milk & Honey). Being a whipped body butter it is heavily handed which means a little bit goes a long way. You don't need much in order to have that full on moisture. Which means it's also a great + lasting investment! Your soft skin will thank you later ;)
