Catrice Cosmetics Review

Hi beauties,

What is your favorite part of your make up routine? I want to share with you a few of my August favorites! Two things I can't live without are blush and highlighter.

Okay let's be honest, I'm a little late to the party because Catrice cosmetics has been around....but in my defense their products came to the United States from Europe only a few years ago!

I have always preached against primers, they make my skin look/feel more oily than without it but the Catrice Prime and Fine has been a game changer for me. I decided to give it a try as an alternative to Chanel's Brightening makeup base.

It makes my skin feel supple (not oily) and my complexion look brighter! When I'm going for a natural look, I pair this with the illuminating blush. It has two tones which I use for both contouring and blush! It's easily a dupe for becca's "Flowerchild" blush.

On the note of affordable products, shout out to Essence Cosmetics. I am obsessed with the Mosaic blush... Truth be told I barely want to use it because it's so pretty!

Low key, the pure nude highlighter is the closest (inexpensive) dupe I have found to champagne pop.

Shop Essence Cosmetics:

My secret to having the best of both worlds is to use budget friendly products on a daily basis (to work, school, running errands) and use your high quality products only on special ocassions (weekends, an event, date night, photo-shoot).
